Lead Data Engineer

The Lead Data Engineer will develop, integrate, maintain and enhance code and tool solutions in support of mission and enterprise data ETL. Work closely with other Data Engineers as well as other stakeholders (data scientists, data management officers, software and systems engineers, etc.) to design and implement scalable and shareable solutions to mature and expand mission and enterprise data capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop new tools, code, and services to execute data engineering activities
2. Move structured and unstructured data using approved methods
3. Execute data ingestion activities for storing data in a local or enterprise level location
4. View data in its source format
5. Develop code to format data that supports exploration
6. Analyze source data formats and work
