RESPONSIBILITIES & MAIN TASKS
Support govern and contribute to a fully integrated and aligned Data Strategy across the SBM organization.
Represent the Design Authority for any changes impacting the any Data Modelling
Design the changes in data modelling solution that meets the needs of the organization, while also adhering to industry best practices and standards
Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise data architecture, including data standards, policies, and procedures.
Design and implement conceptual, logical and physical data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and other relevant artifacts that describe data structures, relationships, and dependencies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and other technical teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, use cases, and data sources.
Work with data governance officers, data engineers, and other IT professionals to ensure the efficient and effective integration, transformation, storage, and retrieval of data across various systems and platforms.
Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data lineage documentation to track data sources, transformations, and usage.
Ensure that data models are scalable, secure, and compliant with regulatory and privacy requirements.
Develop and maintain data quality standards, data validation rules, and data profiling techniques to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data.
Develop and maintain data standards, and procedures to ensure that data assets are managed and used in accordance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve data architecture and modeling practices.
