Business Data Analyst II

The Data Analyst II will work as part of a high functioning Production Operations team, tasked with supporting day to day operations of legal services. Independently define and develop solutions, with minimal direction, for a wide range of technical problems. Participate in team meetings and other collaborations, as well as design and peer reviews. Be flexible; prepared to approach things laterally; able to think outside the box. Interface with business stakeholders, to identify or clarify requirements to address various problems.  Customer service centric focus with the business and their clients as the customer has been key to our growing success and leadership in the market.

The day-to-day responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Provide mentorship and guidance for other team members.
2. Lead business efforts for various client data needs and drive them to completion
3. Serve as a resource for executing ad-hoc data requests, custom reports, test scenarios, data migration, data analysis and quality assurance testing in a production environment
4. Migrate and modernize legacy reporting into dynamic, robust self-service reporting systems.
5. Provide expertise and translate the business needs to design; and develop tools, techniques, and metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualization
6. Seek to establish and implement process improvements at the direction of the department manager
7. Responsible for establishing appreciation and adherence to the principles of data quality management, including metadata, lineage, and business definitions
8. A highly motivated team player and an organized, strategic thinker who is passionate about data
