Information Security Data and Analytics Analyst

The analyst works on all levels of the data and analytics environment and is responsible for research and requirements gathering, integration, ETL, data management, and creation of the visualization of metrics on the front end, and helping managers think about and present data metrics in new ways. You will report to the VP of InfoSec.

The Day-to-Day:

1. Create metrics and reporting for the highest level of management across all departments
2. Help, with metric reporting, to guide strategic risk decisions at the highest of levels
3. Work with the Information Security Data and Analytics Program Manager to create and maintain Information Security supplied risk metrics to stakeholders
4. Responsible for requirements gathering both in and out of the Information Security department
5. Help develop and implement proposed solutions to improve the efficiency of the security and technology controls and initiatives
6. Identify potential process improvements and recommend solutions to management
7. Implement ETL processes from various data sources
8. Implement ETL automation using various technologies: scripts, Mulesoft, stored procedures and more
9. Create the visualization layer in Tableau and PowerBI
10. Reload data from various sources into the Data & Analytics environment on a Monthly/Quarterly/Annual basis

Additional responsibilities may include the following:

Provide recommendations to management to improve our Information Security risk posture
Run statistical analytics and predictive models to find new opportunities or efficiency improvements and creating reporting to monitor these results
Design and analyze tests and programs
