Data Engineer

We are looking for data, data warehousing and analytics professional or other expert with reporting and analytics experience. In our team, you will collaborate with different business stakeholders and functions to fulfill their complex data, analytics, and reporting requirements. We are a centralized team of professionals that leads Valmet on its journey towards industry leading reporting and analytics capabilities.  

Depending on your background and expertise, your responsibilities could include: 

1. Planning and leading complex end to end data warehousing and analytics projects, including overall responsibility of project deliveries, scope, and timelines. 
2. Lead or participate in requirement gathering, data discovery, data modelling, data warehouse and report development together with our vendors. 
3. Hands-on design, validation, training and testing. 
4. Hands-on support, maintenance and continuous development of the current reporting and analytics content. 
5. Hands-on development of pipelines and reporting models 
6. Overall responsibility of an analytics domain. (e.g., finance, supply chain, production, sales)
