Data Governance Analyst

The Data Governance Analyst will work in pursuit of improving data quality across the Amadeus Hospi BI ecosystem. Data Stewards will perform daily tasks to update and correct Hospitality BI data issues, and it is expected that the Sr Analyst will perform these tasks as well as leadership of the team. In this role, you will be a data specialist for consistent resources, interpretations and approaches for data subjects to resolve issues with global data, apply strategy and drive improvements to implement robust change management processes. Support a global team to maintain the highest level of data quality for SaaS BI Products. Specific job activities, among others, are handling data steward activities for Rebrands, General Info/Superficial changes, Mapping updates, BID Merges, System Merges, BID creations/mapping.

In this role you will:

1. Execute the established data governance policies and standards and set up efficient workflows and communications.
2. Handle data from a variety of sources and documents and ensure adherence to rules around data collection, storage and use.
3. Review domain inputs, concerns and questions and report issues and drive required improvements.
4. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
5. Query database via SQL to investigate data as necessary.
