Roles & Responsibilities

As PO for GEN AI platforms, you will lead a team of GENAI Platform Product owner. to deliver on the outcomes for the squad, creating a psychologically safe, inclusive, accountable and high performance culture. This includes working across multiple teams, including MLOps and LLMOps Systems and Platforms. This is a technical PO role who is responsible for technically driving the technical deliverables from the team after agreeing with functional and business stakeholders.

Builds, implement, and maintain scalable generative AI models specifically tailored for business teams across multiple Generative AI Use cases across the bank. This role also involves ensuring the generative AI platform is functional, accessible, integrated with the creative workflow, and capable of handling increasing creative output demands, including service management aspects.

  1. Accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management (including managing requirements lifecycle, production deployment and release day coordination and sign off). Works with the squad and the crew to determine who is best to perform change request and delivery framework related administrative tasks.​
  2. Manage a mix of internal and external stakeholders, with some stakeholders outside of the Crew but largely within the domain/BU.
  3. Manage change, product development and delivery by having the change process well understood and defined, and the product designed and delivered with resources (including Technology where applicable) largely within the Crew. Some external dependencies on other Crews but largely within the domain/BU.
  4. Deliver operational risk and issue management for a limited set of controls and management of execution risks/issues.
  5. Contribute to best practices for the Product Owner community within CBA.
  6. Define product vision, goals and roadmap, aligned to Crew objectives and purpose, and engage with key stakeholders (Business and Technology) to manage its delivery.​
  7. Accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management (including managing requirements lifecycle, production deployment and release day coordination and sign off). Works with the squad and the crew to determine who is best to perform change request and delivery framework related administrative tasks.​
  8. Act as the voice of the customer and business and translate this for the squad.​
  9. Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business and customer outcomes.​
  10. Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.​
  11. Drive product exploration (e.g. using design thinking and analytics) and formulate hypotheses to validate product strategy / design.
  12. Ensure all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy and process frameworks (e.g. GDF, PDDP, RiC) are fully met and satisfied.​
  13. Identify, articulate and manage risks, dependencies and compliance across streams of work (e.g. customer propositions).​
  14. Maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.​
  15. Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.​
  16. Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.​
  17. Role model continuous improvement and customer focus.​
  18. Drive squad effectiveness and agile maturity (i.e. sprint burn down, release burn up, and squad/team health) in partnership with Agile Coaches and Performance Leads.
