Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager RDM (Regulatory Data Management) you will cover the following areas, with minimum supervision and much decision-making: 

 

  1. Lead and inspire the Global Regulatory Data Management cross functional team, providing strategy, guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for associates across the EU, US, and APAC regions. 
  2. Be responsible for the change management process for assigned PSRC systems in consultation with IT, ensuring that the process supports the Product Safety system vision to maximize the use of standard functionality and content. 
  3. Cultivate strong relationships with the three internal business divisions (Polyurethanes, Performance Products, Advanced Materials), ensuring Product Safety data management initiatives align with their specific needs and objectives. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand division-specific requirements and integrate Product Safety data management considerations into their product development and compliance strategies. 
  4. In collaboration with Global RDM team members, establish standards and guidelines for data entry procedures and training in support of established standards. Set-up training plans and provide training to PSRC and Business globally. 
  5. Be responsible along with RDM team members for functional support of planned system upgrades and changes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), by leveraging previous Project Management, Service Transition, Operation Management and Migration Management experience.  Work with other PSRC team members for completing UAT and/or manage the testing program for specific projects as appropriate. 
  6. Be responsible along with other team members for managing the implementation of updates received from content provider (regulatory data, templates, and rules). 
  7. Be responsible for ongoing auditing and validation that data standards are followed.  Make sure that project work assigned from the GAIA Operational Excellence Board is completed on a timely basis. 
  8. Support users through training and communication, including new or changed system functionality.  Implement new change requests procedures; identify gaps in business processes and set-up improved processes within Product Safety department and Customer Service. 
  9. Ensure systems can support all legal requirements to generate compliant Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), Labels, Regulatory Data Sheets and to perform automatic Global Regulatory Checks and Substance Volume Tracking (including REACH for all required countries). 
  10. Execute standard reports as developed by the RDM Team Advisor and other Team Members and train PSRC associates on their use to facilitate independence. 
  11. Manage Business Process Owners for several systems/tools. 
  12. Manage RDMT responsible for managing Report Requests and transactions in GAIA.  
  13. Manage RDM Team members for Vendor SDS application, work with Raw Material Team to solve issues and work with EHS management globally. 
  14. Partner with the internal and external stakeholders in the Huntsman IT group to ensure solutions are effectively running.
