Analytics Engineer - Metro

The role will be responsible for the successful modeling of data across different internal data sets for reporting and analytical purposes. This person will partner closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and curate sources of truth and tooling to enhance operations. Where data is currently unavailable, resource should have technical capabilities to either create data pipelines themselves or work with data engineers to do so.

The ideal candidate is an experienced data modeler and BI developer who can contextualize data needs of the organization and develop solutions from scratch.

Responsibilities

1. Develop complex data models that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
2. Become the SME for SAP data
3. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
4. Partner with Commercial Finance enhance current workflows with data tools or dashboards
5. Support migration of reports within SAC to new BI environment to ensure continuity of business
6. Create custom pipelines to ingest data into Snowflake data warehouse from external sources as needed
