IT and Business Applications Support Specialist

We’re looking to hire a first IT Support Specialist to join our small team, ensuring seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and driving automation. This offers the opportunity to work independently with all Trexo employees, based in our office or remotely in various locations.

This position is fully in-person, in our office in Mississauga.

You have a proven track record in technical support, particularly within smaller organizations, and you excel in environments where you can wear multiple hats and manage various responsibilities.

What you will do

1. Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners in our office and for remote employees.
2. Support business operations by managing and setting up automations using no code tools like Zapier or scripting languages like Javascript.
3. Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
4. Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
5. Provide technical support and training for different software tools across the company (in person or online).
6. Manage accounts across various platforms and tools, including setting up accounts for new users and assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding.
7. Assist the engineering team in cloud and local infrastructure for automated testing, CI/CD.
8. Manage google drive file storage, including access control.
9. Provide guidance and best practices on IT services to end users.
10. Test out and evaluate any new technology that may be useful.
11. Repair and replace equipment as necessary.
