Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Drive the HDL (Hardware Description Language) system design and realisation. 
  2. Write the documentation of your circuits and verification tests. 
  3. Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas. 
  4. Maintain multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists, working towards a common goal. 
  5. Play a key role in building control systems for quantum computers. 
  6. Maintain UQs’ position of using state-of-the-art electronics solutions. 
  7. Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.  
  8. Engage with project planning activities, risk management and scheduling requirements.  
  9. Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions. 
  10. Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
