Data Centre Technician

The Data Center Technician must work well with others and will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations. This position involves hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair and will include participation in an on-call rotation. 

1. Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability of service levels
2. Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs
3. Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures
4. Training of internal teams
5. Development of documentation
6. Provide technical support to data center teams
7. Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware
8. Maintain inventory
9. Assemble and install equipment
10. Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment
11. Occasional travel to other data centers as needed
