Senior Research Programmer

The Decision Sciences Research Center at Tecnologico de Monterrey is seeking a research programmer and data scientist to join a team working on multiple research projects in the field of neuroscientific experimentation, climate change mitigation modeling, economic modeling, network modeling,  computational experimentation and decision support tools.

Duties/Responsibilities:

As part of a dynamic team and working with competing demands, a Senior Research Programmer do the following key activities:

1. Implement complex machine learning, statistical, data-mining, economics informatics algorithms.
2. Design, setup and run computational experiments to execute algorithms on various types of biomedical or healthcare related data.
3. Design, setup and run computational experiments to evaluate and benchmark cutting-edge machine learning algorithms.
4. Develop and modify decision support tools and demonstrations.
5. Create documentation for all software, code and experiments.
6. Design and implement data infrastructure; Ensure the integrity and security of data, code, and analytical experiments.
7. Write or help prepare technical reports and/or publications.
