Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Analyze large sequence datasets from diverse workflows including exome capture, RNA-seq, and single cell sequencing.
  2. Develop and implement machine learning pipelines for analyzing drug screening datasets.
  3. Work with Hutch scientists to refine computational research questions and develop analytical processes that can be applied to these genomic datasets.
  4. Identify appropriate bioinformatics tools to meet the needs of proposed projects.
  5. Partner with researchers who are developing novel assays to design appropriate processing and analysis workflows.
  6. Review current literature to identify and adopt software and methodologies, making new analysis capabilities available to the Hutch community.
  7. Provide figures and written sections to document methods and results for manuscripts, presentations, and grant applications.
