Decision Support Analyst

The Decision Support Analyst will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of data management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable information.

Duties

1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights; Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar; Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to support business decisions.
2. Business Intelligence: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide appropriate solutions; Use advanced analytical techniques to support business objectives, including predictive modeling, trend analysis, and statistical analysis.
3. Decision Support: Assist in the development of strategic plans by providing relevant data and analysis; Evaluate the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives through data analysis and reporting; Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve business performance.
4. Data Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by implementing and maintaining data quality processes; Work with IT and other departments to integrate data from various sources into a central database.
5. Project Management: Lead or participate in data-related projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project outcomes; Document and communicate project progress, challenges, and outcomes to stakeholders.
6. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on data tools and reporting systems; Develop user guides and documentation for data systems and tools.
