Roles & Responsibilities

You will analyse data to derive insights that enable P&O Cruises and Cunard brands to understand their guests. To do this, you will use a variety of data sources available in the business(including data about previous and future holiday bookings, pre-cruise and on board spend, guest profile data and survey responses), and you will engage proactively with stakeholders to drive decision-making based on insights emerging from your analysis.

You will be a key member of a small team of insight professionals focusing on guest insight,and wil lwork within a wider insight and data science team, all focused on guiding stakeholders across all areas of the business to make the right decisions based on insight.Whilst individual team members haves pecific focus areas, everyone is expected to work collaboratively, supporting all areas (and each other)as required and to deliver insight and thought leadership,not just data, following through on projects to drive positive change.

You will:

  1. Access and use arange of data sources,including data about previous and future holiday bookings, pre-cruise and onboard spend, guest profile data and survey responses , to generate relevant insights that drive decision making across the business
  2. Create compelling stories that enable non-technical stakeholders to understand and take action based on your insights
  3. Collaborate with the team and stakeholders to identify key decisions and business priorities that can be influenced by data, and proactively explore the data to maximise impact
  4. Work closely with Data Science to support analysis of data and model outputs they generate,to addinsight and visualisation, and make β€˜stakeholder ready’
  5. Support in the creation of clear,reusable and engaging data visualisation sto bring guest data to life and provide reference content (including in the form of online dashboards) for stakeholders around the businessΒ 
  6. Support analysis and reporting a cross the wider insight and data science teams

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK09 and is offered on a full time, permanent contract basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office, including up to two days per week from home.
