Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
Contribute to the automation and digitalization of data governance and robotics activities, optimizing the global operating model.
Learn and implement new tools for data cataloguing and data deletion to comply with ANZ privacy requirements.
Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to advance data and analytics best practices while ensuring compliance with Australian Privacy Legislation.
Operational Management:
Document current systems, data sources, solutions, and processes designed to meet current business requirements and extend the functionality of existing applications.
Understand business needs and gather requirements to build bespoke analytics and dashboards.
Support the analysis, interpretation, reporting, and presentation of data.
Implement Data Governance best practices to enhance data quality.
Develop technical solutions to meet key business objectives, leveraging advanced BI tools such as Alteryx and Power BI.
Build models, simulations, scalable and automated analytical systems.
Design, develop, validate, and implement data extraction, data transformation, and load processes (ETL/ELT) following established architectural and governance standards.
Meet project deadlines for delivery.
Educate and train others on modern applications of data and analytics techniques.
Provide basic user training and support to business users for reports and dashboards.
Governance & Risk
Develop and execute a comprehensive data governance strategy, including frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Advise and guide the business in assessing privacy risks in processes related to the delivery of products and services, challenging and guiding thinking on privacy throughout the client and product lifecycle.
Deliver the data deletion program and ongoing maintenance requirements ensuring compliance with Australian Privacy Legislation and rules.
